This policy explains what Leash Lore ("we") collects when you use leashlore.com, why, and the choices you have. The site is operated by Jose Weidson da Silva Soares. Contact: contact@leashlore.com.
What we collect
When you take the quiz
Your quiz answers are processed in your browser to pick a result. Your individual answers are never sent to us or stored. If you ask for your plan by email, our server checks that you ticked the consent box and then sends two things to our email provider, MailerLite: your email address and a label for your result (for example, "quiz-barking"), which adds you to our list. We don't send your answers, your IP address or a record of the consent box.
When you join our email list
We use your email address to send the plan you asked for and a short series of training emails, some of which mention a program we're an affiliate for. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
Analytics and cookies
We only load Google Analytics, and Google Ads conversion measurement when we run ads, after you choose "Allow" in the cookie banner. The banner names the tools it will turn on. These tools set cookies and collect information such as pages visited, approximate location and device type. If you choose "No thanks", they are not loaded. We store your choice in your browser's local storage. You can change it at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, when analytics is enabled on the site.
Server logs
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our sign-up endpoint uses IP addresses briefly to limit repeated submissions.
Affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link, you leave our site. The seller or affiliate network (such as ClickBank or Amazon) may set cookies to credit the referral. Their privacy policies apply on their sites.
Why we use your data
- To send the emails you asked for (based on your consent).
- To understand which guides are useful and, when we run ads, to measure quiz sign-ups from them (based on your consent in the cookie banner).
- To keep the site secure and working (our legitimate interest).
Who processes it
- MailerLite: email delivery and list management.
- Cloudflare: hosting and security.
- Google: analytics and ad measurement, only after your consent.
We don't sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of our analytics account.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK, or state laws such as the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Email us to make a request. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
